Rail roko from tomorrow

Six farmers' organisations will start an indefinite rail roko in the state from November 14 against the Union government not giving the MSP recommended by the Agriculture Price and Cost Commission.

Six farmers8217; organisations will start an indefinite rail roko in the state from November 14 against the Union government not giving the MSP recommended by the Agriculture Price and Cost Commission. Addressing a press conference here, Hardev Singh, president of the All India Kisan Mazdoor Sabha, said, 8220;Rail roko will be held near Khanna and Mansa, and we will block all major trains going to Delhi.8221;

He said the commission had recommended Rs 1,050 per quintal as MSP on wheat, but the government announced Rs 850. 8220;We will also demand fixing of MSP for all crops,8221; he said.
