Govt warns postal staff of action
NEW DELHI:
Government today threatened to take disciplinary action if postal employees did not call off their indefinite strike which crippled postal services across the country for the fourth day even as agitators resolved to continue their stir till their demands were met. Terming the strike `politically-motivated’, Communications Minister Sushma Swaraj told newsmen the government would not consider any demands till the stir was called off. Meanwhile, the postal staff plans to march to Parliament.
