Chris Harris hit the winning run, pulling Saurav Ganguly to the mid-wicket off the last ball of the penultimate over to give the Kiwis their first win in the tournament.ISRO rocketCHENNAI: A two-stage RH-560-MK-II rocket, the largest of the Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) family of Rohini sounding rockets, was successfully launched by the ISRO from the Sriharikota range at 1921 hrs on Sunday. The rocket carried a set of instruments from Germany to study the upper atmosphere. An ISRO release said the launch was carried out under a commercial arrangement between ISRO and DLR, the German space agency. Attorney general Soli Sorabjee, who appeared for CBI, submitted that a sanction order cannot be a condition precedent for remanding an accused in a pending inquiry or trial.Linda McCartneyLONDON: Linda McCartney, the American photographer wife of former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, has died from cancer, the star's publicist said on Sunday. She was 56. Geoff Baker said Linda died on Friday at Santa Barbara, California. Her husband and children were with her.
