PU in semis

CHANDIGARH, January 22: Defending champions Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and the hosts Panjab University entered the league stage semifinal of the North East Zone Inter-University women8217;s kho-kho championship at PU Campus here today. While last year8217;s runners-up Delhi crashed out of the meet.

GND University scored a whooping 25-4 win over Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur while PU thrashed HP University, Shimla 15-2. Punjabi University, Patiala edged past last year8217;s semifinalist Delhi University 10-7 to qualify for the semifinal stage.
