In their second innings,UP lost three wickets before Shivakant Shukla and Parvinder Singh saw them to stumps.

Chandigarh: Resuming on 59/3,Vishwas Bhallas century on debut lead the way for Punjab. Bhalla was in good touch in Chandigarh against Hyderabad,smashing twelve boundaries to take the lead past 300. Overnight batsman Pankaj Dharmani gave him good support with 50 while Lov Ablish played a cameo role for the last wicket stance.
