CHANDIGARH, MARCH 22: The indefinite strike of PGI employees from tomorrow has been deferred by the PGI Employees Union, who had given the strike call.
According to sources, the strike has been deferred as an outcome of talks between PGI Director B.K. Sharma and employee representatives of the union, held on the intervention of the local MP Satya Pal Jain.
PGI Employees Union president Ashwani Munjal said during the talks between employees and PGI management held at the residence of local MP, it was decided to continue the dialogue between the two on March 27, after which the employees would decide on future action.
