Parimarjan Negi, the youngest participant at six years, participating in the medallist section registered three consecutive wins after his first round loss. On the top table, Kabir Punde of Mother8217;s International 3 points played a fighting game before losing to Anoop Jairaj of D.T.E.A. 4. R. Srinivasan 3.5, another highly-talented player from Rai School, accounted for Anirudh Aggarwal 2.5 of D.P.S R.K. Puram.
