A day before their police remand comes to an end, forensic tests on Noida serial killing accused duo, Moninder Singh Pandher and Surendra Koli, were concluded at the Directorate of Forensic Science (DFS) here on Tuesday. DFS officials, however, said that it would take time before they reach at any conclusion after they analyse the data obtained from the series of tests run on Pandher and Koli.

According to DFS Director J M Vyas, narco-analysis on Pandher started around 3:00 pm and concluded around 9:30 pm. Narco-analysis on Koli had been concluded on Monday.

“All the tests — polygraph, brain-fingerprinting, and narco-analysis on the both the accused have been completed. The two accused were medically fit and were comfortable during the tests,’’ Vyas told waiting mediapersons on Tuesday night, adding that they would run a follow-up on Wednesday.

Asked what the tests suggested, the DFS director said that no conclusion had been drwan. “We will come to know that only after we analyse the data,’’ he said.

DFS deputy director S L Vaya said that they had followed all the lines of investigation in the case and kept in mind the hypotheses submitted to them by the investigating police officials.

About any conclusion, she said: “We will have to interprete the data…and we will also correlate the data from the three tests before arriving at any conclusion.’’ She said that they would submit the report to the court.

Deputy SP (Noida Police) Dinesh Yadav, who is investigating the case, said that he did not know the outcome of the various tests as he was not present during the tests.

The police remand period for Pandher and Koli ends on Wednesday, January 10. The two had been brought to DFS here on last Friday.
