Australia qualified for the Champions Trophy final when they trounced Germany 5-0 today, edging ahead of the Netherlands and South Korea for second spot in the tournament.

Australia’s opponent in tomorrow’s gold medal match will again be Germany, who are already assured of a place in the final after finishing top after the group stage.

South Korea blew their chances of reaching the final when they could only draw 2-2 with Britain while the Netherlands defeated Pakistan 4-1. Hosts Malaysia were thrashed 2-7 by Spain.
