New post for labour inspector

CHANDIGARH, Sept 6: The UT Administration has redesignated a post of the Labour Inspector Grade I in the pay scale of Rs 5,480-8,925 to that of Labour-cum-Conciliation Officer in the existing scale.

According to an order issued by the Labour Commissioner, the redesignation is allowed to V S Bhargo, who is senior-most Labour Inspector Grade I with immediate effect in his present scale of pay. The order specifies that the official will not be entitled to extra remuneration on account of this redesignation.
