City boys launch special website on World Cup

There is more good news for the netizens across the world who also love the world of cricket; two young Mumbaites 8212; Navin and Samir Haram 8212; have this week launched a special website for the last world cup tournament of the millennium. Any and every information about the World Cup and the game of cricket will now be available at 99worldcup.webjump.com.

Navin, Haram informed that a host of interesting features will be available at the website. The site has a picture of a pitch at the background and flags of each participant country on the right hand side. Though the site can be viewed by any browser, it can best be viewed in Internet Explorer version 4 and 5, said Navin.

Railways to ban sale of cigarettes on platforms from June 5

Beginning World Environment Day on June 5, the sale of cigarettes on railway stations will be banned. Western Railway8217;s Divisional Railway Manager Pankaj Malviya told newspersons that the orders had beenreceived earlier in the week. This was one of the provisions of the Union rail budget presented earlier this year. WR is also planning to ban the sale of plastic bags on railway stations in Mumbai as part of its pre-monsoon preparations. Both suburban railways will also begin the sale of weekly season tickets from June 1.
