
Concern over missionary8217;s murder
THe Christian community expressed deep anguish and concern over the brutal killing of Australian-born missionary Graham Stewart Steins and his two sons in Orissa early on Saturday. Chairman, Indian Christian Voice Solomon Vaskar said, 8220;We want our protest to be recorded over the murder of Steins and his two sons. For the past 32 years, he had been working for lepers and serving the nation. We want the government to interfere, to find and punish the culprits,8221; he said.
Two killed in freak accident
Two persons died and two others were injured when three trucks collided with each other crushing an autorickshaw between them at Vikhroli on the Eastern Express Highway this morning.
Around 6 am on Sunday, just opposite the Ghoda Gate of Godrej company at Vikhroli, a dumper, a truck and a tanker collided with each other. An autorickshaw, which was caught in the collision, was badly crushed. The dead were identified as Jaspal Avtar Pal, the auto driver andGopalkrishnan, a passenger travelling in it. The injured 8211; Ramraj Patil and Talib Khan 8211; have been admitted to the Rajawadi Hospital, where they are reported to be out of danger.
