Mohammad Ibrahim Athar Alvi

The head of the group that hijacked Indian Airlines flight IC-814 he was called ‘Chief’ by the other hijackers. Believed to be member of the Harkat-ul-Mujahideen, later the JeM, he is Maulana Masood Azhar’s younger brother. He was believed to have spent most of his time working on his family poultry farm in Pakistan.
