In a summit meant to tackle the worst economic crisis that has hit the world in a long time and where India would play a key role, the Ministry of External Affairs thought it The Arjun turnaround

At the end of his term as the HRD Minister, Arjun Singh thought it best to correct some notions that his earlier statements may have created in the public’s mind. So, while he had once famously said that higher education was a sick child, he clarified at the V-Cs’ conference this week that this was not the case any longer. “It is no more a sick child. The Prime Minister has been extending all help for the growth of higher education in the country,” he said.
