Film-maker Subhash Ghai made quite a noise in London recently. The director commenced the shooting of his latest film, Yaadein in the Queen8217;s city some days ago, where a smattering of international celebs mingled with our desi filmwalas. Keith Vaz, Minister at the Foreign Commonwealth Office played Chief Guest at the occasion, while industrialists L N Mittal and S C Hinduja lent able support. Also spotted Lord Raj Bagri, and even our very own Shekhar Kapur at the occasion. In fact, the Elizabeth director himself took a place behind the camera to direct the mahurat shot with Jackie Shroff. Later that evening, Ghai invited the dozens of guests to share in his joy at a party he threw at London8217;s popular Chor Bizarre restaurant. Beaming from ear to ear at having truly gone international, Ghai downed several glasses of bubbly even as he welcomed guests heartily and promised that Yaadein would be yet another milestone in his eventful career. For our part, we8217;d much ratherwait till the film is out, before we echo similar sentiments.
