DOHA, March 6: Jeev Milkha Singh’s par score of 144 helped him to make the cut, applied at 144, in the one million dollars Qatar Masters at the Doha Golf Course today. England’s Andrew Sherborne has a five-stroke lead with an eight under 64 for a 11-under 133 total.

Jeev, who had a two over par 74 in the first round on Thursday, shot two under par 70 today to advance into the third round along with 17 others who had the same score.

Despite bogeying the third, eighth and 14th holes, he birdied the seventh, 10th, 11th, 13th and 17th. A 125-yard wedge shot helped him birdie the 11th, while on the 10th and 17th, he was lucky to find the ball going in after hitting the lip.
