Jaipur foot camp

PUNE, Jan 3: Nearly 200 needy amputees will get a free Jaipur foot in the Grand Mega Jaipur Foot camp jointly being organised from January 2 to January 9 at Sancheti Hospital by the 25 Lions Club of Pune.

Lodging arrangements for outside beneficiaries and breakfast and lunch for the amputees will also be made. The camp is being organised with the cooperation of Oswal Mitra Mandal, Mumbai. The expenditure for the camp has been set for Rs 200,000. Paresh Mehta, chairman, artificial limb, has made an appeal to all philanthropic persons from society to donate generously for the cause.

On January 10, free Jaipur Foot will also be distributed in a function to be attended by Shobha De.
