
NEW DELHI, June 28: Delhi police commissioner V.N. Singh has ordered a vigilance inquiry into the incidents of June 24 when a trader in Sadar Bazar died during the course of a police raid. DCP Vigilance Ajay Chadha confirmed that the enquiry was being conducted and said that the report would be submitted as early as possible.
The trader Raj Narayan Kalra was one of those protesting against a joint raid conducted by Mumbai and Delhi police against another trader.
