The Indian eves, who avenged their 0-1 loss to England in their opening league tie, went ahead through an eighth minute strike by Surinder Kaur before England drew parity with a 46th minute conversion by Lisa Wooding.
But Mamta Kharab enabled India triumph in the very first minute of the sudden death extra time, information received here today said.
The Indian girls displayed a classy game despite playing abroad for the first time, at the Kean University facility, Indian Women8217;s Hockey Federation secretary Amrit Bose said here.
