
Baboor wins curtailed tournament
Surat: Top seed Chetan Baboor and S Raman bagged the first and second places respectively in the all-India prize money invitational table tennis tournament here, as the final round robin league matches today were called off as a mark of respect to a city municipal councillor who died yesterday.Baboor had emerged as the leader in Group A, while Raman was ranked first in Group B. In the women8217;s section, M Arul Selvi came first and MS Mythili second.
