Hockey trials today

CHANDIGARH, July 13: Trials to select Chandigarh hockey players in boys and girls sections in the under-18 group for the forthcoming Asian School Hockey Championship will be held tomorrow at 8 a.m., at Sector 42 Hockey Stadium.

According to School Games Federation of India (SGFI), two players each in boys and girls sections from each state and union territories would be selected for the Indian Schools team.

The meet in the boys category will be held at Macau in the second week of September while Sri Lanka would host the girls championship.

Cricket tourney
Shine Star Cricket Club, Sector 27, will organise first League Cash Prize cricket tournament from July 25. According to a press release, entries close on July 22 with Lucky, H.No- 2619, Sector 27-C.
