MUMBAI, June 23: The Bombay High Court today ruled against a possible probe into the case of gangsters Lahoo Angare and Vikas Waghmare who allegedly died in a police encounter in March last year.

In response to the petitions filed by Priya Lahoo Angare and Vandana Vikas Waghmare, widows of the deceased, urging the high court to order a CID or CBI investigation into the fake8217; encounter, Justices N Armugham and P S Patankar held that mere suspicion is not ground enough for a probe. quot;It will also be against the public interest, quot; the court said.
