There is opera pastry with fine layers of chocolate coffee and cream stacked one by one. Yellow ricotta cheese cake, another creation showcases a block of pale yellow pastry with a sliver of kiwi perched on top. In the pastry titled And there is Florida offers a creamy white platform that stacks chunks of colourful fruits in the centre with strips of chocolate stuck on the sides.

Among its list of regular hot brews, rose cappuccino Rs 95 stands apart with a subtle flowery fragrance and there are organic teas Rs 95, fruit smoothies Rs 125 and lattes Rs 125 to pick from.

Beanstalk also stacks tie bread Rs 95 that puts together ribbons of flour meshed with slivers of olive and onions. Among cookies Rs 125 for six pieces, salted ajwain is well done and vanilla tea cakes will go well with your evening cuppa. If this calls for a sugar rush, add some salted mouthfuls with roasted chicken frittata Rs 95 and exceptionally well done baby carrot and potato toasties Rs 95.
