Congress President Sonia Gandhi believes in playing with all when it comes to factional politics in state units. Recently she sent a subtle message to Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia who is leading the anti-Digvijay Singh camp in Madhya Pradesh. As it happened, PCC chief Subhash Yadav, a Scindia campwallah, issued show-cause notices to two former ministers, Govind Singh and Mahendra Boudh. The duo had taken a royal swipe, though at Scindia8217;s aunt Yashodhara Raje, a BJP MP, last March, saying that people had no access to royalty and were always turned back by the palace durbans. While Yadav was persuaded not to take things further, Boudh, who had been the Home Minister in Digvijay Singh8217;s Cabinet, was recently appointed a member of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes. That is 8220;Madam8217;s8221; way of balancing powers, say partymen.
