Car stunt on snow-laden Mughal Road, all for a reel, traffic cop suspended in Poonch

A traffic policeman from Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch standing on the footboard of a moving car to make a social media reel was placed under suspension Saturday.

Sub-Inspector Gul Sheraz, posted as Sector Officer (Traffic), Mughal Road, Poonch, has been placed under suspension for allegedly misusing his official vehicle to make a social media reel, officials said.

The suspension followed a video showing the officer standing on the footboard of his moving vehicle on the slippery, snow-laden Mughal Road near Pir Ki Gali. The incident led to widespread criticism and raised serious concerns regarding safety and professional conduct, particularly given the hazardous road and weather conditions prevailing in the area.
