Educationist dead

MUMBAI, May 20: Educationist and social worker Manikrao Lotlikar died here today aged 76. He is survived by his wife, Suman, and three sons and a daughter.

Lotlikar was recipient of the Dr T M A Pai Foundation award for his contribution to the field of education. He was the founder-trustee of the Indian Education Society and was also connected with theatrical activities.

Lotlikar was the founder trustee of the Indian Education Society. The society was managing only five schools when he took charge of the management in 1964, which has now grown to 60 schools. Management and architectural colleges are also run by the society.
