PUNE, AUG 23: Election observers, appointed by the Election Commission to supervise the polling for the three Lok Sabha seats in Pune district, today visited the District Collectorate and inspected the arrangements made for the polls.
Vinita Kumar, secretary of Energy department of Utter Pradesh government and M H Khan, Deputy Director of BSNAA in Utter Pradesh have been nominated as General Observers for elections in Khed Lok Sabha constituency. Prakash Chandra, Commissioner of Income Tax Appeals from New Delhi, has been appointed as the Expenditure Observer for the constituency.
U P Singh from the Department of Economic Affairs Banking Division, New Delhi and V K Bansal Special Commissioner of Maharashtra Government have been appointed as General Observers for Pune Lok Sabha constituency. Rakesh Bhatia has been nominated as Expenditure Observer for the constituency.
Jecob Thomas, Secretary Coordination of Utter Pradesh and Rajeev Sadanandan, Special Secretary for Health and Family Welfare Department, Thiruvanantpuram are General Observers for Baramati Lok Sabha constituency. Y K Gaiha, Commissioner of Income Tax Appeals, Mujaffer Nagar is the Expenditure Observer for the constituency.
