THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JANUARY 13: Sunil Kumar bagged the singles and doubles under-18 titles in the first Rajan Pillai Memorial All-India Ranking junior tennis championship.

RESULTS

Boys under-18 singles final: Sunil Kumar bt Jaco T Mathew 6-3, 4-6, 6-0. Doubles: Sunil/Amanjot Singh bt R Anand Kumar/Vivek Chandrasekar 6-4, 6-2. Under-16 semis: Amanjot Singh Chd bt Avinash Reddy TN 6-3, 6-2; R Arun Prakash TN bt V Vignesh AP 7-6 2 6-2.

Girls under-18 singles semis: Samritha Sekar TN bt Sania Mirza AP 7-6 4 6-1; Isha Lakhani Mah bt Sandhya Kanury TN 6-3, 6-2. Doubles final: Nischella Reddy/sania Mirza bt Sandhya Kanury/Samrita Sekhar 7-5, 6-4. Under-16 semis: Isha Lakhani Mah bt Sania Mirza AP 6-2, 7-5; Nandita Chandrasekhar TN bt Samrita Sekar TN 6-2, 6-0.
