Dhumal8217;s Winter Move from Jan 15

Sources in the Chief Minister8217;s Secretariat say details of the Winter Move were being worked out in consultation with the Kangra Deputy Commissioner, ministers and MLAs of the area. Dhumnal is also scheduled to address some party leaders.The Winter Move, in fact, was started by former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, who converted 8220;Kashmir House8221; 8211; a HPTDC unit, into the Chief Minister8217;s office-cum-residence. Dhumal has reverted the Kashmir House to the HPTDC to re-start its hotel. The decision, however, was criticised by the opposition.

Before moving down to Dharamshala, the Chief Minister has also plan to visit upper areas of Shimla district to address a rally of the fruit growers, who along with the local BJP unit had invited him for a 8220;thanks giving8221; rally. 8220;It was for the first time that the farmers themselves volunteered to invite the Chief Minister and convey their gratitude to him for better handling of the apple marketing season,8221; says Horticulture Minister Narinder Bragta.

Even in the lower areas, the BJP plans to dispel the impressions that the BJP-HVC coalition government has scrapped the Winter Move.
