CHANDIGARH, May 9: Excellent batting by Devi Dutt 106 and fine bowling by Devinder 5 for 18 helped High Court XI beat Sagar Cricket Club by 54 runs in the fifth Shine Star cricket tournament today.

Batting first High Court IX scored 222 runs in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of four wickets. Devi Dutt, who hit 106 runs, which included 18 boundaries and two sixes, was the main architect of the team8217;s victory in the match today. Rajinder 51 and Anil 24 also contributed to the score.

In reply, Sagar CC were bundled out for 168 runs. Narinder 46 and Subhir 34 scored for the losers. Devinder scalped five wickets for the winners.

In another match fine half-century by Rajesh 69 enabled Bombay XI defeat Youth Panther by 27 runs.
