
MUMBAI, FEBRUARY 15: Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh has granted an amount of Rs 20,000 to All India Sports Council of the Deaf and the India Deaf Society to enable them to send deaf cricket players to South Africa.
The 15-member India cricket team, which will be participating in the second World Cup cricket for the deaf to be held at Johannesburg from March 24 to April 6 this year, was in need of financial support. Deshmukh sanctioned Rs 20,000 from the Chief Ministers Relief Fund.
