Daler back in action

Bhangra pop-singer Daler Mehndi is back in action after facing legal hassles 8212; with a new song for the spy thriller Bullet-on-target. The film, starring Bulgarian-based actor Asad Sikander, Aseem Merchant and Miss Bulgaria Natalia Kurgova, is directed by Irfan Khan and is scripted by Faaiz Salim and Shahid.

Daler, who was in the city for recording the song, Ishq aasan hai zara karke dekhiye, today said he is now all set to focus on his singing career.

On his being back in action after legal hassles, he said in a release: 8216;8216;I have heaved a sigh of relief. I have started singing and it is just God8217;s grace that I have overcome those legal hurdles. I feel more refined, elegant and graceful.8217;8217;

The film, shot non-stop for 70 days in Bulgaria, is expected to be released in April.
