CTCC flays BJP on Godse play

CHANDIGARH, July 19: The Chandigarh Territorial Congress Committee CTCC here today deplored the attempts to quot;distort the glorious history of the country8217;s freedom struggle.quot;

Various Congressmen, in a meeting held under the presidentship of former MP Pawan Kumar Bansal, accused the Bhartiya Janata party for glorifying Nathu Ram Godse in the controversial play quot;Mee Nathuram Godse Boltoyquot;. quot;This has exposed the nefarious designs of the BJP,quot; said Rajiv Sharma, in a statement issued to the press here today. CTCC also decided to hold a dharna on July 24 in front of the office of Municipal Corporation. This will be in protest against rising prices, lack of provision of civic amenities and mismanagement of funds besides other things.
