Congressmen plan to stage protests today

NAGPUR, April 30: The Congressmen in the region will observe the May 1 Maharashtra Day, as protest day8217; by organising various public meetings and staging dharnas at different places.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, former Lok Sabha member and senior Congress leader, Banwarilal Purohit, informed that the Congressmen would stage a day-long dharna at Variety Square under the leadership of Lok Sabha member, Vilas Muttemwar, in protest against the non-inclusion of separate Vidarbha state issue in the National Agenda of the Vajpayee government.
