IA8217;S cell on fog
Indian Airlines has set up a 24-hour cell at Delhi and Mumbai airports to disseminate flight-related information to passengers in view of the possibility of disruptions of flight schedules due to winter fog. The numbers at Delhi are: 140 for queries on flights disrupted by fog, 142 pre-recorded flight schedule, 9627-011-142 pre-recorded flight arrival information and 9627-011-143 pre-recorded flight departure information. The numbers at Mumbai are: 140 queries on flight arrivals and departures, 142 pre-recorded flight arrival information and 143 pre-recorded flightdeparture information.

An online web form has been set up the Bombay Environmental Group where citizens can file reports at beag.net/smokereport. The information will be forwarded by e-mail to the Transport Commissioner with a confirmation to the sender.

CR engineering block
Central Railway will operate an engineering block at platform no 7 and 8 at Dadar Terminus till January 22, 2000. The 1064 Up Chennai-Dadar express will now arrive at Dadar terminus at 8.05 am instead of 6.45 hrs upto January 20. The train will halt at Thane on platform no 7 for five minutes from 6.10 am. The 1058 Up Amritsar-Dadar Express will terminate at Dadar on platform no 6; KR 4/KR-3 Dn Ratnagiri-Dadar-Ratnagiri passenger will arrive and depart from platform no 5 or 6 at Dadar.
