AIADMK leader hits MinisterIt was yet another black day in the history of the Tamil Nadu Assembly as the leader of the AIADMK group, R. Tamaraikani, today hit Agriculture Minister Veerapandi S. Arumugam on his nose-bridge, causing a bleeding injury. The MLA was taken into custody from Apollo Hospital later in the evening. Speaker P.T.R. Palanivel Rajan has suspended Tamaraikani and another AIADMK MLA C. Karuppusami, for the rest of the budget session.India, Pak swap 57 prisonersIndia and Pakistan today repatriated 57 civilian prisoners kept in various jails of both the countries. India sent back 43 prisoners whereas Pakistan sent in 14 prisoners including three minors.
