Giani Puran Singh takes charge
Giani Puran Singh was today installed Acting Jathedar of Akal Takht, at a peaceful, and largely attended ceremony in the Golden Temple complex. The Akali Dal leaders described it as 8220;the biggest-ever gathering of Sikhs in living history8221;.Giani Mohan Singh, head granthi of Golden Temple, however, didn8217;t turn up to present a siropa to the Acting Jathedar.
