NEW DELHI, AUG 28: Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi today said Prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee admitted to her that the Central Bureau of Investigation CBI raid on her Patna residence was 8220;wrong8221; and assured her he would get the matter looked into.

After a 45-minute meeting with Vajpayee at his residence, she told reporters she had told the prime minister the CBI raid was 8220;an affront to a woman chief minister and an insult to the entire state.8221;

8220;Yeh galat hua hai. Isko hum dikhwayengey This is wrong. I will get it looked into,8221; Vajpayee was quoted as having told the Bihar CM, who was accompanied by her husband and Rashtriya Janata Dal President Laloo Prasad Yadav and RJD Working President Ranjan Yadav during the talks.

Laloo Yadav said he told Vajpayee that the raid was conducted out of sheer political vendetta and drew his attention to the statement of a scam accused, Dipesh Chandak, charging Union Ministers George Fernandes and Nitish Kumar with having received 8220;tainted money8221; from scamsters.

The CM complained to Vajpayee that Governor S S Bhandari was not cooperating with her Government, interfered in her working and did not carry out his constitutional obligations. 8220;Vajpayee said he will look into this complaint,8221; Rabri Devi said.

Asked if he feared dismissal of the State Government, Laloo Yadav said, 8220;No, I care a damn for dismissal8221; and dared the centre to do it.
