Builder booked

The Sahkarnagar police have booked a builder Sandeep Walimbe of Sadashiv Peth for allegedly abetting suicide of his employee Ramesh Shivaji Borkar 23 on April 11, last year. Ramesh8217;s father Shivaji Borkar, a resident of Mahadev Nagar in Hadapsar has lodged a police complaint in this case. According to the complaint, Ramesh was working as a site supervisor for Walimbe. Ramesh came to know about some of the alleged illegal activities of the builder. Police said that Ramesh committed suicide by hanging self at a construction site in Bibwewadi. Police sub inspector A A Jagdale is investigating the case. Meanwhile, last month, Shivaji Borkar had demanded CBI probe alleging that his son8217;s death was not a suicide, but a murder. Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone II Satish Khandare had assured proper investigations into the case.
