AMRITSAR, Jan 24: The British government proposes to form a policy to enable the relatives of immigrants to join their families in the United Kingdom. This was stated here today by Patric Hall, British Member of Parliament, while talking to the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee authorities.

He said, Bradford, the constituency he represented, had a considerable number of Sikhs and his visit to Amritsar and Golden Temple would help him to understand them better.

The SGPC authorities asked him to issue visa8217;s liberally to the preachers, ragis and granthis visiting England to participate in the tercentenary celebrations of birth of Khalsa. He assured to convey the feelings to the British High Commissioner and British government.

Patric Hall paid obeisance at the sanctum sanctorium and the SGPC authorities presented him siropa.
