Anand Jon faces more charges

The new counts add six new victims for a total of 18, ranging in age from 14 to 27 years old, said Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney8217;s office. Many of the victims have come forward since Alexander was arrested in March. Prosecutors contend Alexander met the girls and women in Internet chat rooms and asked them to visit him to see if they could be models.

Alexander is free on bail but prosecutors planned to ask a judge to increase the amount to 2.3 million. He has pleaded not guilty to all previous charges.
