3 held in extortion case

A special police squad was tipped off after three extortionist were demanding Rs 1 lakh from Sanjay Agarwal, manager, Deep Ball Pen Co, located near Damji Point, S V Road, Kandivali. The trio were threatening the company8217;s staff since Tuesday.

Even as a trap was laid this afternoon, the three men were asked to call on the company to collect the money. They were caught red-handed while accepting the extortion money. The trio have been identified as Ashok Nakle, Sanjay Nakle and Sandor Fernandes.
