Once released, candidates can log in to check the results at the official websites. Students can also check their class 10 result directly by entering credentials in the direct link given below and get their marks at the registered email id and mobile number.

Bihar Board has become the first education board in the country to have released both class 10 and 12 results despite the COVID-19 pandemic-led school closure.
Nearly 16.8 lakh students appeared for the madhyamik exam which was held in March. Last year, a total of 13.20 lakh students had passed the exam, the pass percentage counted as 80.59 per cent.

The first position is jointly shared by three candidates -- Pooja Kumari and Shubhdarshani from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya (SAV) and Sandeep Kumar from Baldev High School, Dinara, Rohtas. They have scored 96.80 per cent.

As Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB)'s Class 10 board result is announced, three students share the topper slot with 96.8 per cent. Overall, 78.17 per cent students passed as against pass percentage of 80.59 last year. State education minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary said, "Considering the fact that classes could not be held throughout the last academic year, it is still a satisfactory result."

A total of 12.93 lakh (12,93,054) students cleared the matric, 10th exam successfully out of 16.54 lakh (16,54,171) students appeared. The pass percentage in the matric exam recorded at 78.17 per cent.
A total of 101 students have secured place in the merit list, the matric exam result was announced on April 5. The first position is jointly shared by three candidates -- Pooja Kumari and Shubhdarshani from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya (SAV) and Sandeep Kumar with 96.80 per cent.

This year, the pass percentage has dropped by nearly two per cent. In 2020, the pass percent was 80.59 while in 2019, the pass percentage was at 80.73 per cent. A total of 16,54,171 students appeared for the exam of which 8,29,278 were girls while 8,24,893 were boys. As many as 12,93,054 students have passed of which 6,76,518 were boys while 6,16,536 were girls.

After the infamous incident of 2016, when the BSEB topper did not know answers to basic questions, the board has started verifying the answer scripts of top-scoring students. For the current year, due to the pandemic, the verification is being conducted through WhatsApp-based video conferencing

If someone has obtained 75 per cent marks in aggregate but has failed in one subject only by not more than 10 per cent marks and cannot be allowed to pass under any other regulation, will be declared to have passed
In case a student fails in one subject only by not more than 8 per cent marks or in two subjects by not more than 4 per cent marks in each, he/she will be given the marks he/she is short of.
To achieve the first division, a student has to score 300 marks while for the second division, it is 225
A candidate need to secure 30 per cent of the total marks in the theory portion of each subject and 40 per cent of the total marks in the practical of each subject to pass the matric exam
