The Ram Charan and Kiara Advani-starrer Game Changer team has spent Rs 75 crore on just four songs. Director Shankar recently revealed this figure and it left many wondering why the team felt the need to spend so extravagantly on just the music numbers. The film’s music label, Saregama released a breakdown of the numbers.

Game Changer has four songs, titled “Jaragandi,” “Raa Macha Macha,” “Naanaa Hyraanaa” and “Dhop.” The team shared that the song “Jaragandi,” choreographed by Prabhu Deva, featured 600 dancers and was shot over 13 days on a massive 70-foot village set. The costumes used in the song were eco-friendly and made of jute.

The song “Raa Macha Macha,” choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, featured 1000 dancers. The makers shared that the song is a tribute to folk dance and it celebrates India’s rich cultural diversity.

Naanaa Hyraanaa” is said to be the first Indian song to be shot with an infrared camera. The update read that the song was shot in New Zealand. The fourth song, “Dhop,” choreographed by Jani Master, features 100 Russian dancers and was completed in eight days.

These Game Changer’s four songs are by Thaman S. Sharing the details, the makers wrote, “A 75 Crore Music Budget That Redefines Grandeur! 💥😎 A @MusicThaman Musical 🥁 #GameChanger #GameChangerOnJAN10 🚁.”

Fans reacted to this new piece of information on social media. While a few think it is ‘crazy’ to spend such a large amount of money on just four songs, others were more enthusiastic.

“Shankar has always had extravagant song videos for his movies. Jeans had Aishwarya waltz around the seven wonders of the world then. All for a song, it was magnificent,” reacted a fan on Reddit. “You can make another whole film with Rs 75 cr, that is such a waste of money and not even for good like everything is awful about it,” posted another.

Game Changer is set to hit the screens for Sankranti, and it features Ram Charan in dual roles of a father and his son. Apart from Ram Charan, Suryah and Kiara Advani, Game Changer also features Jayaram, Samuthirakani, Anjali, Sunil, Vennela Kishore, and Srikanth in pivotal roles.
