Nakuul Mehta recently hinted at him making a comeback soon. At the premiere of U-Turn, the actor told the media that there are a few things in the pipeline and he will be making an announcement soon.

Ever since Bade Achhe Lagte Hain took a leap, fans have been missing Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar. While the young leads Pooja Banerjee, Niti Taylor and Randeep Rai are loved, viewers have been missing the OG Ram and Priya on the show. Now, indianexpress.com has exclusive information that Nakuul and Disha are set to be back with a show on Sony TV.

A source told indianexpress.com that the ongoing track of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain will be wrapped up soon and the show will be taken off air. Another love story featuring Nakuul and Disha will then take its place. The makers haven’t yet decided if they want to call the show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 or introduce an altogether new show. The team will soon make an official announcement about the show, post which a promo will also be released.

“Nakuul and Disha weren’t keen on playing older characters and thus decided to step out of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Given fans have been wanting to see them back, the makers decided to put them together in another show. The love story will have them play Ram and Priya once again, but with a new plot and storyline,” the source added.

Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar first starred in TV show Pyaar Ka Dard Hai…Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara in 2014. Their pairing was much loved which made Ekta Kapoor cast them in her reboot version of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain in 2021. The original show, depicting a love story between a couple in their 40s, had Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar in the lead roles.
