Suddenly, Kollywood is brimming with camaraderie. Last night, Vijay, at the success meet of Leo, said that there’s only one Superstar in the Tamil industry. Though he didn’t take Rajinikanth’s name, it was obvious that the actor was referring to the Jailer star. Likewise, he called Kamal Haasan, the Ulaganayagan, Vijayakanth, the Captain, and Ajith, Thala. Fans went berserk during and after the speech. Now, as a mark of another camaraderie, Rajinikanth is all set to share the teaser of Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2.

Lyca Production, the banner behind Indian 2, announced on Twitter that Rajinikanth will be sharing the teaser, which is called Indian 2: An Intro. “Their friendship that grew over the years has only got stronger with time!” read the caption.

Over the years, Kamal and Rajinikanth have come out in support of each other during the release of their respective films. Rajini was also part of the grand event that celebrated 50 years of Kamal Haasan in the industry.

Not just Rajinikanth, Telugu icon SS Rajamouli, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeep, and Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan are also batting for Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 by sharing the teaser tomorrow.

Indian 2 has been in the making since 2017. After several delays due to multiple reasons including a fatal accident on the sets that killed 3 crew members, the film is finally gearing up for release. It is expected that the release date of the movie will be announced with the teaser. Other than Kamal Haasan, the film has Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, S J Suryah, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalidas Jayaram and Gulshan Grover among others. Anirudh Ravihander is composing the music for the movie, which makes it the first Shankar film without AR Rahman’s music.
