The TV czarina has once again proved that she doesn’t want anything less that 100 per cent on her shows

Ekta Kapoor isn’t the TV czarina for no reason. While last time she wanted an aesthetically shot love scene on Jodha Akbar, this time, for a special shaadi sequence in Kumkum Bhagya on Zee TV, the producer wanted the best lehenga for the bride, Pragya (played by Sriti Jha).
Apparently, Ekta turned down 19 outfits before finalising the one that Sriti finally wore for the shoot. “She personally took the efforts to go through the bridal jod as that had come for the episode,” says a source from the production unit.
Not just that, she also made sure that everything from decorations around the shaadi household and the music to which the protagonists are seen dancing at the sangeet to the look and feel of the baraat and the doli are completely perfect.
