Pharma trailer: Nivin Pauly embarks on a mission to expose pharmaceutical industry’s unethical practices

In the trailer, we see young medical representative KP Vinod (played by Nivin Pauly) being trained by his senior, portrayed by Binu Pappu. His struggle to meet sales targets makes it clear that he may be in the wrong profession. However, he unexpectedly finds success after promoting a new drug called KydoXin—only to later discover that the medication is dangerous and has harmed several people.

The trailer then follows Vinod as he takes on the pharmaceutical industry, determined to undo the damage and prevent further harm.

Pharma is set to premiere on JioHotstar on December 19 in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi. Written and directed by PR Arun, the show also stars Rajit Kapur, Binu Pappu, Narain, Shruti Ramachandran, Veena Nandakumar, Muthumani and Aalekh Kapoor in pivotal roles.

On the film front, Nivin Pauly will next be seen in Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum director Akhil Sathyan’s second film Sarvam Maya, set to hit the big screen on December 25. The actor also has several other films in his kitty, including Dear Students, Baby Girl, and Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai.
