Watch the new song from Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Besharam’: Dil Ka Jo Haal Hai is a typical 90s song

Second song from Ranbir Kapoor and Pallavi Sharda's upcoming film Besharam is out.

Second song from Ranbir Kapoor and Pallavi Sharda’s upcoming film ‘Besharam’ is out. The song called,Dil Ka Jo Haal Hai,reminds us of Jo Haal Dil Ka,a song from Aamir Khan and Sonali Bendre’s hit ‘Sarfarosh’.

Sung by Abhijeet Bhattacharya and Shreya Ghoshal, composed by Lalit Pandit and written by Rajeev Barnwal, the song has typical 90s elements to it,be it singing, lyrics, composition, instruments,or those peculiar sounds in additional vocals or singer.

Dil Ka Jo Haal Hai has the look and feel of a mid 90s song and adds ‘love is in the air’ flavour to it. The song totally justifies the title of the film,’Besharam’.

In the song,Pallavi is seen driving Ranbir in an open jeep in the middle of country side roads which again is something all 90s romantic songs had. Ranbir is seen singing his heart out to Pallavi like a total ‘Besharam’,similar to what he was doing in Love Ki Ghanti.

The song would have been a pleasant ’90s blast-from-the-past had it not been for its similarities with one of Lalit Pandit’s early hits,Jo haal from ‘Sarfarosh’.

Dil Ka Jo Haal Hai brings singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya back into action.

However, the song has considerable energy and punchy beats.

Directed by Abhinav Kashyap,’Besharam’ also stars Ranbir’s parents – Rishi and Neetu Kapoor. It releases on October 2.
