Amrish Puri’s grandson Vardhaan Puri recently shared a significant life lesson he learned from Amitabh Bachchan. In a recent interaction, Vardhaan recounted how veteran actor Anupam Kher shared an anecdote about Big B, which left a deep impression on him. This story also had a profound impact on Vardhaan’s perspective on life.
Speaking to Bollywood Now, Vardhaan recalled, “I have worked with Anupam Kher on a film, and I will work with him on another. He told me something during our time together. He was once shooting with Mr. Bachchan in Hyderabad, where it was extremely hot, and the ACs weren’t working. Anupam sir asked the director to quickly take the shot because he was feeling very hot. He noticed Bachchan sahab from a distance, wearing a kurta pyjama along with a jacket and a shawl, with no ACs or fans on. Anupam sir asked him that while he is sweating how is he was not feeling hot. Bachchan sahab replied, ‘When I think about the heat, I feel hot, but if I don’t think about it, it doesn’t affect me.’ I think it’s about how you take life.”
On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan is enjoying the massive success of his recent film Kalki 2898 AD, where he played the role of the immortal Ashwatthama. Big B will next be seen in the Tamil film Vettaiyan, where he will star alongside superstar Rajinikanth after a gap of 34 years.
